Chewable versus Tablets?

Are gummy vitamins worth the extra money? A few questions to ask yourself, first off do you eat a well balanced diet? I always recommend food first, then supplements secondary. If you eat fruits and vegetables daily, your already doing yourself a favor. The next question I would pose is do you have trouble swallowing pills? If you can take Advil or Tylenol, then swallowing a vitamin should be easy. If you are concerned with the size of the vitamin, shop around. Vitamins used to be larger but now they come in much smaller sizes.

Another factor to consider is that often with chewable vitamins, you have to consume two and sometimes even four vitamins to get 1 serving. Whereas with multivitamin tablet it is normally one tablet per day. When comparing the price make sure to check the serving size. I personally would not consider a chewable vitamin, but for children I think they can be very beneficial as long as it doesn’t contain a lot of sugar.

This is a great option for vitamin c that is in a chewable tablet, especially right now when everyone is trying to build up immunity.
