With Covid-19 in full swing in Florida right now, I’m getting more questions and consults regarding Vitamin C than ever before! While the idea of blast off the virus with Vitamin C tablets sounds like a good idea, there are a few things to remember. Vitamin C is critical for immune support, the best source of Vitamin C is dietary and you can achieve this from eating fruits and vegetables.  The recommended target of Vitamin C is 75mg for women and 90mg for men, but for infection prevention try to consume 200mg per day (for women & men). While mega-vitamin C doses is a popular trend, don’t get caught up in the hype!
