A Pharmacist's Perspective on Continuous Glucose Monitoring

During the month on August, I wore a continuous glucose monitor and tracked my diet, exercise and it was was recorded via the Freestyle Libre into the Levels Health app. Before I would eat I would take a picture of my food and write a description then a couple hours later I would get a score which would reflect how that specific meal impacted my blood sugar. I learned a lot about how my body manages blood sugar, and I also made a few lifestyle changes as a result of the program.

I published an article which is featured on the Levels Health blog, and I am really proud of how it turned out. While I was doing the program, Iā€™d have patients/friends/family ask me why I was doing this, and well to be honest because Metabolic Health is an epidemic in our country and I wanted to take proactive steps to be a healthier individual.
